CMR is the international consignment note used in the road transport of goods. The document confirms the conclusion of the contract of carriage and contains information about the sender, consignee, carrier and the cargo being carried.
It is required in international transport between countries that have signed the CMR Convention and defines the scope of the carrier’s liability in the event of damage to or loss of the goods.
