For carriage we use exclusively high-volume jumbo tandem sets with a capacity of 120 m³ – by comparison, a standard semi-trailer offers 83 m³. One set takes up to 38 euro pallets with a maximum payload of 22 tonnes. This configuration is optimal for palletised cargo, because it allows us to efficiently combine goods from several shippers on a single long-distance line.

How much does pallet transport from Turkey to Poland cost?
The cost of carriage from Turkey depends on many factors and cannot reliably be given as a single rate. The price of transporting goods is affected above all by:
- the number of pallets and their dimensions and height,
- the weight and volume of the cargo – charged according to loading metres or chargeable weight,
- the place of loading in Turkey and the place of delivery in Poland,
- the nature of the goods – different rates apply to loads requiring the ADR procedure,

How long does transport of goods from Turkey to Poland take?
Transit time is usually 5 to 10 working days, depending on the place of loading and the place of delivery – in practice this most often means one to two calendar weeks. Punctuality is affected by customs clearance on both sides of the border, the completeness of documents, the situation at border crossings and weather conditions on the route.

We have bonded warehouses both in Czechowice-Dziedzice and in Istanbul. Our temporary storage warehouse in Poland covers 1,500 m² (with a further 1,000 m² extension planned), is open from 8:00 to 18:00 and remains under the constant supervision of the Customs Office and full monitoring.
The warehouses perform three functions: a transhipment terminal for groupage shipments, a place for packaging shipments before transport, and temporary storage. For you this means a tangible benefit – we can consolidate pallets from several Turkish suppliers into a single shipment and thus reduce the unit cost of carriage.
How to prepare a pallet for carriage
A well-prepared load means faster clearance and a lower risk of damage. Make sure the goods do not protrude beyond the outline of the pallet and that the whole load is wrapped in film and strapped. Label each pallet in line with the packing list and check that the packaging is suitable for international transport – wooden pallets exported outside the EU may require fumigation in accordance with the ISPM 15 standard.

Road, sea, rail or air transport?

Sea transport can be cheaper for very large volumes, but it extends delivery time due to port handling in Istanbul, Izmir or Antalya.
