Road transport is a type of transport involving the carriage of people or goods using vehicles travelling on roads, such as trucks, vans and cars.
It is the most commonly used form of land transport, especially over short and medium distances, e.g. for transport to Turkey, transport to Greece or transport to Bulgaria.
It is characterised by great flexibility, the possibility of door-to-door delivery and easy adaptation of the route to the needs of the sender and recipient, which is why it is used in both domestic and international transport.
For these reasons road transport is also often used in the express transport formula, where delivery time is of key importance. Road transport is also the basic form of refrigerated transport, allowing goods to be kept at a constant temperature along the entire route.
